If she is just pulling the strip you are going to get skin pulled off every time. She should be pulling the skin tight and should be pulling the strip close to your skin in an upward motion. She should not be yanking the strip away from you. Anyway...yes, it is going to have a slight scab. For now while it is pink at night put chap-stick on it and keep it moist. In the morning be gentle when you are cleansing it but feel free to cover it with make-up. By morning it should be less sensitive and already starting to heal. As it starts to scab over be careful not to pick at it or break the scab. Keep it really moisturized and then gently dab your make-up over it so you do not rub it and cause it to peel. It will eventually get very dry one day and will be ready to come off. If you notice the skin around your injury becoming dry during the day you will want to apply the coco butter more often. The goal is to keep the skin soft so that is can stretch and heal itself without leaving a scar. and no matter how bad you think things are at the moment, or if you even get in that kind of situation again, cutting is definetly not an answer. The problem is that the skin has been ripped off, leaving only the sensitive underlayer. Since skin cells reproduce quickly, it should only take a few days to heal. Obviously, the more severe areas will be the last to heal. For future reference (in case this is part of the problem), avoid using a cloth or anything similar on you face, as the texture will pull off more cells than necesary. And, depending on your skin type, it should only take a little exfoliating gel (or whatever) to take off the dead layer.
